Senior Equipment Engineer - Auxiliary/fluid systems
A Senior Equipment Engineer Services Engineer with Auxiliary/Hydraulic/fluid systems is required to work on a six month contract (with the possibility of extension) for our Defence client based in Glasgow.
This is a 6 month contract working for a leading defence company.
Overview of the Senior Equipment Engineer contract role
A Senior Equipment Engineer is required to manage the equipment related aspects of the various auxiliary systems including interfacing and managing the technical interaction with the suppliers, validating supplier data deliveries and general query resolution such that an appropriate level of data maturity is accepted into the project and key technical information is made available to the appropriate stakeholders.
Key skills required for the Senior Equipment Engineer
- Strong knowledge in naval engineering specifically in Hydraulics systems
- Proven ability in working with auxiliary/fluid systems
- Naval ship design experience - Preferably
- Extensive experience within the Naval sector would be an advantage
