Description
For one of my clients in Amersfoort I am looking for a plant Network engineer. In this role you will assist through the entire life cycle of the industrial plant's process control with security. You will be a member of projects wherein you will be responsible in building, testing, installing at site and finally keeping the network (and security) up to date. You have an affinity with security, Microsoft and networking. You also like to work in the Process Control industry. You understand the importance of security in this industry and you are ready to take this great responsibility to secure the plant site.
Your responsibilities/tasks will include the following, but may not be exclusive:
- Supporting role in assigned projects (may evolve into lead role)
- Assist in selecting the recommended hardware and software solutions of the network infrastructure for projects.
- Assist in making quotations for security solutions
- Implement Network infrastructures for process control plants
- Implement Microsoft infrastructures for process control plants
- Implement security packages like antivirus and backup software
- Assist the lead or senior Network engineer in writing design documents or manuals
- Testing with customers
- Support the lead or senior Network engineer in creating design documents
Profile:
-3 - 5 years of working experience as a Network (Security) engineer (or of the equivalent level)
- Network knowledge is (Cisco certificate is an advantage)
- Microsoft knowledge is (Microsoft certification is an advantage)
-Worked with McAfee and/or Symantec software is an advantage
-Knowledge of Process Automation is an advantage
-Affinity with security
-Capable of working independently, as well as working in the project team and dealing with customers
