Description

Are you a strong Public Relations Manager looking for your next step and have strong media contacts and experience with building relationships, writing press releases and developing PR and communications material? If this sounds like you then we are keen to speak with you.

Established in 1986, we now have 5, successful brands to include niche markets such as IT, finance & banking, Public Sec, Pharma, Oil + Gas & Engineering.

We are looking for a Public Relations manager on what will be an initial 6 month contract with the possibility to go permanent afterward. You will be required to help with improving the profile and public presence of SThree and the recruitment brands. We are looking for someone with 2-3 years' experience who is looking to make their mark and build a role within a large, exciting and dynamic company.

As Public Relations Manager you'll be tasked with pitching stories to the media, preparing media kits writing press releases and developing PR and communications material. You'll also have experience of releasing information to counter negative publicity and handle crisis and emergency communications.

  • Ability to work in high-stress environments, often for long hours
  • A wide degree of creativity and latitude
  • Self-motivated with a positive and professional approach to management


Primary responsibilities
  • Plan and direct public relations programs designed to create and maintain a favourable public image for the employer and its primary brands.
  • Create company/brand literature and other forms of communication.
  • Create appropriate PR materials, both print and digital.
  • Copyedit, proofread, and revise communications.
  • Design and launch email campaigns.
  • Work with manager and business units to determine event schedules.
  • Promote products and services through public relations initiatives.
  • Develop marketing communications campaigns.
  • Create thought leadership materials.
  • Create and deliver press releases, media relations content, case studies, white papers, executive bios, corporate newsletter content, social media content, and speaking proposals.
  • Identify, develop and execute communications strategy for key media contacts and customer references.
  • Research media coverage and industry trends.
  • Develop fresh story ideas.
  • Conduct extensive media outreach.
  • Prepare briefing materials.
  • Coordinate scheduling and logistics.
  • Coordinate conference, trade shows, and press interviews.
  • Manage information.
  • Prepare agendas and conduct research.
