Design & Process Engineer Pharmaceutical SectorAs a member of the Manufacturing Science and Technolgy group, you will work with the Project Definition Team and Engineering Office to deliver
a Concept and Basis of Design package for an international new production facility on a brown field site
" Deliver Process Flow Diagrams, process layouts, process studies, P&IDs
" Implement process improvement vs existing with cost reduction demonstration and process simplification
" Technical input to Conceptual and Basic Design reports
Specific Skills/Training Requirements:
" Possess a qualification in : Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Biotechnology, Mechanical Engineering discipline
" Must have minimum of 8 years experience in biotechnology industry.
" Must have prior knowledge of production scale bacterial/cell culture processes
" Must have previous experience with production scale Upstream (media/buffer, sterile filtration/transfers, fermenters
and/or Downstream (centrifugation/chromatography/ ultrafiltration/final filtration) equipment & processes.
" Must have ability to work co-operatively with international Users/Engineers/Validation/Quality personnel in a fast moving environment, to proactively propose solutions & resolve issues pertaining to the production process.
" Capable of working as part of a multidisciplined team as well as an individual
" Good organizational skills and ability to manage their time and identify priorities
" An analytical, logical and practical personality
" Good reactivity when facing challenges
" Rigorous in following documentation and the project stages in accordance to company requirements
" Previous experience working in an international engineering design team at early project stage would be an advantage.
Work in normal days, and adapt as required due to the workload during the mission.
Must be comfortable with remote working tools.
International travel is foreseen for minimum 25% of this mission & up to 50% at early stage.
English and Other languages are an advantage
