*Events Coordinator with high profile event delivery experience required for exciting new opportunity for a key public sector client based in Glasgow*

Role Profile

To manage the delivery of a large scale events programme which incorporates a series of eight events and will be delivered in partnership with a number of other key organisations. The post holder will identify opportunities, plan and deliver high quality events and connected activity, ensuring clear alignment and integration with wider objectives.

Essential

  • Significant experience in developing and delivering high profile and impactful events
  • Strong experience of project management
  • Experience of delivering and supporting the development of comprehensive materials for events that are appropriate to target market and using appropriate/effective channels
  • Demonstrable experience of budget management, ensuring events and associated projects are consistently delivered on time and within budget
  • Demonstrable experience of managing and overseeing the work of agencies, event management companies, venues and other suppliers
  • Demonstrable experience of managing and delivering events in a complex environment, within a wider marketing and communications programme
  • Experienced in developing and maintaining effective working relationships with an ability to persuade and influence at all levels, both internally and externally
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

  • Experience of working in an organisation at national level, with an understanding of regional/local needs
