Requirements and Acceptance Engineer- Requirements Management, Acceptance and Change Controls experience
A Requirements and Acceptance Engineer with Requirements Management, Acceptance and Change Controls experience is required to work on a six month contract with the possibility of extension for our Defence client based in Portsmouth
This is a 6 month contract with a leading UK defence business.
Overview of the Requirements and Acceptance Engineer contract role
To undertake a defined range of requirements and acceptance activities (with emphasis on requirements) in line with all relevant processes, alongside supplying advice and support to the COM engineering team and to organise and co-ordinate aspects of requirements and acceptance activities to ensure requirements are identified, defined, agreed and successfully demonstrated. This is a key role in the interface between the Customer, Design Authority, Combat and Platform community and Operations.
Key skills required for the Requirements and Acceptance Engineer
- Knowledge and experience of managing technical requirements.
- Knowledge and experience in delivery of acceptance.
- Key Interpersonal/Behavioural Skills Focus on the customer community to provide: Clear objectives and delivery.
- Excellent working relationships Clear benefits to the business.
- Good written English and presentation skills with the ability to write clear, unambiguous requirements.
- Willingness to go the extra mile for the team and the customers. Continuously Improves standards of excellence in drive and commitment.
- Analytical Skills Ability to implement complex information schemes (Mandatory).
- Ability to contribute to development of clear policy, process and procedures (Mandatory).
- Understanding of salient technical and commercial issues relevant to requirements and acceptance criteria Interprets requirements from contract or other documentation producing specifications and/or instructions.
The role is based in Portsmouth, Hampshire - commutable from Southampton, Cowes, Isle of Wight, Salisbury, Winchester, Andover, Basingstoke, Guildford, Aldershot, Crawley, Horsham, Brighton, Worthing, Chichester
