Job Description:- Responsible for daily consultation with advertisers utilizing knowledge of the Internet, and advertising principles via in-bound and out-bound phone calls, e-mail and mail.
- The purpose of consultation is to facilitate the fulfillment of the DE product and design process.
- The DE suite of products consists of, but not limited to, direct mail postcards, flyers and posters.
- Work assignments are received from the Support Group or in response to in-bound calls.
- The Media Consultant manages their assigned workload by monitoring the progress of the DE order throughout the fulfillment process in order to achieve defined timeline commitments to advertisers and sales.
- All work is based within a specified timeline that requires various multitasking skills to meet required deadlines.
- Address Advertiser's design or fulfillment process questions.
- Serve as liaison between advertiser and the Designer.
- Develop, organize and submit customized content packet with advertiser information for product design by a Designer.
- Create content for the project and all materials provided by advertisers.
Skills:
- A general understanding of advertising principles is required.
- A general understanding of user-centered design and design terminology
- Strong people, communication and organization skills are required as interaction occurs with the advertiser and Sales personnel over the phone.
- Content Development skills are a must.
- Strong Software Skills: Microsoft Office Suite to include Excel, Word and Outlook Express.
- Design Software skills a plus.
- This position oversees high end direct mail marketing campaigns.
- Working with a national sales force, this person will consult directly with the SalesForce and clients, oversee the creative development and message, work with national companies obtaining co-op funds, track the delivery and report the resulting metrics from the campaign.
- Applicant must have creative talent, be familiar with postal regulations and understand branding.
- BA/BS or equivalent work experience.
