CSR Coordinator - St Pauls based - Contract role

A tier 1 investment bank is currently seeking to recruit a CSR Coordinator within their offices based in St Pauls, London.

The Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) group sits within Global Marketing and Corporate Affairs, which, globally, contains corporate social responsibility, public policy, internal/external Communications, events and marketing/sponsorship.
The CSR group for EMEA includes Community Engagement, Environment and Arts & Culture and Responsible Business strategy. Our CSR initiatives focus on enhancing youth employment, developing a greener marketplace, supporting the arts, and embedding responsible business practices as a critical component to our success. This role works with the business units to ensure that our employees are leveraging the full range of initiatives and campaigns with their teams, clients and community and that there is strong awareness within our employee base of programmes we support to encourage good conduct and a strong responsible culture.

Responsibilities of a CSR Coordinator:
* The CSR Coordinator sits within the CSR team and reports to the regional CSR Executive. The primary objective of the role is to work Line of Business (LOB) CSR leadership teams to embed CSR across the business.
* The role will require delivering the CSR vision and focus areas, whilst connecting the LOBs to CSR opportunities and establishing annual CSR plans for each team.
* The role will require regular measurement of performance against key Kips.
* The candidate will need to work effectively with other members of the CSR team, the LOB CSR Leads and will need extensive experience and knowledge of systems and data management to ensure effective delivery and reporting.

Requirements of a CSR Coordinator:

Management of UK LOB CSR Champions
* Ensure effective and enthusiastic relationships with the LOB CSR Champions by educating them on their roles, responsibilities and helping to deliver effective campaigns that meet business and CSR objectives
* Give presentations to engage relevant groups to drive internal participation in CSR platform
* Help deliver effective recognition process for the individuals involved in supporting CSR programme
* Create toolkits, guidelines and materials to support the champions and wider committees in their roles
* Ensure clear roles and responsibilities are identified so LOB contacts help with programme delivery and co-ordination
* Manage Country CSR Champions and work with them on developing Country plans to meet EMEA CSR objectives

Programme Management:
* Work with each area of the CSR team to develop programme priorities and understand initiatives and campaigns of focus
* Using CSR LOB Plans create clear deliverables for LOBs to have a robust roadmap for growth of CSR programmes
* Create regular sessions to check on progress, provide support and troubleshoot where necessary
* Bring CSR LOB Champions together to share best practice and inspire others what works well
* Ensure recording of key metrics and updates of LOB plans are completed to reflect current status of projects
* Work closely with CSR Executive and their EA to ensure LOB plans are fully updated ahead of LOB leadership meetings and actions and next steps are followed through
* Develop clear reporting back to wider CSR Team on progress and areas of focus
* Work across CSR Leads to help problem solve, develop ideas and connect the dots where necessary
* Ensure LOBs use current CSR partners to help with delivery and avoid creation of new partnerships which may fragment the focus of the bank's CSR work
* Work with CSR country champions to encourage synergy with EMEA CSR platform, to develop Country plans and to report on results and involvement. Support local activities by linking EMEA and Global CSR campaigns and initiatives to help activate these opportunities in a local setting

Communications and Marketing:
* Working with LOB teams and Country Champions to promote CSR initiatives within existing LOB/Country communications
* Create materials for LOB/Country Townhalls and other channels to ensure CSR activities are Embedded
* Work with internal teams to help create brand visibility opportunities for the company and the LOB initiatives where appropriate

Data Management and Reporting:
* Work with CSR team to ensure impact reporting and data is processed, structured, streamlined and captured appropriately on a scheduled basis and communicated back to the businesses.
* Strong Excel skills are needed for the position
