Infrasrtucture Solution Architect (Migration from XP environment to Win7)
Role summary
1. Build conceptual and logical steps required to migrate XP environment to Win7
2. Ensure a project's physical data design aligns with the proposed logical model
3. Provide advice on plan governance to projects in order to ensure consistent and good quality migration
4. Leading local client team
5. Managing customer expectations and seeking help from Serco management on need basis
Essential technical skills:
Understanding of migration challenges
Knowledge of an industry best practice
Knowledge of and experience in Win migration
Exposure to at least one end to end migration project
Good knowledge of XP, Win 7/8/10
Behavioral Skill:
Inclination to understand current set up and implications of change
Ability to proactively comprehend and apply industry best practices
Good communication (especially listening and writing) in English
Ability to take ownership and deliver outcomes
Good team player
