Senior Manufacturing Engineer with manufacturing eligibility, job available in Tipperary on a permanent basis. The company is currently expanding its R&D and technical capabilities for the design of new product area and requires a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join the manufacturing team on site in Tipperary.

About the job:

As a Senior Manufacturing Engineer you will support the Manufacturing organization to facilitate efficient operations within the production area, to optimize existing processes, and to ensure that production goals are met. You will monitor performance of equipment, machines and tools and corrects equipment problems or process parameters that produce non-conforming products, low yields or product quality issues. You will also initiate and complete technical activities leading to new or improved products or process, for current programs, next generation programs and to meet strategic goals and objectives of the company. As the Senior Manufacturing Engineer you will prepare reports, publishes, and makes presentations to communicate findings. You will lead a project team, determining goals and objectives for the projects. You will mentor employees by sharing technical expertise and providing feedback and guidance.

Strong supervisory experience or mentoring skills an added benefit as part of the role will be people development, people leadership directly or indirectly. As a Senior Manufacturing Engineer you will develop and/or support area/line vision across the engineering group or business unit. As well as transferring and implementing processes either from development or from another manufacturing facility.

Requirements:

Ideally 5+ year's experience in manufacturing, preferably from medical device, automotive or aerospace industry.

Manufacturing Engineer eligibility - Level 8 degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Biomedical Engineering etc.

People management experience is a distinct advantage.

Salary and benefits:

Depending on experience €55K+ + 10% completion bonus, healthcare (employee), pension contribution.
