I recruit for contract mechanical design engineers with manufacturers in the North of England.I am pleased to inform you that one of my key clients in the Subsea Oil and Gas sector are searching for a Mechanical Engineer to join their Cumbria site on a contract basis.
The role will entail:
- Mechanical design
- Technical analysis
- Development and testing
- Installation
- Technical documentation
The ideal candidate must have:
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related)
- 5 years relevant experience
- Used Creo, Pro E or Inventor CAD package
- Competence with FEA
- Experience applying ASME code, ISO 9001, APIQ1
The ideal candidate will have:
- Oil and Gas / Subsea experience
- Knowledge of electromechanical products
- Experience with geometric tolerancing
- Designed complex mechanical assemblies
