Description
Our client, a leading bank, is currently recruiting for a senior case manager to join their complaints and litigation team. This is an opportunity for a senior level candidate to support the business with the aim of resolving customer disputes within Commercial Resolution Management. It will be an initial 6 month contract based in London, with the manager looking to interview early in January.
Key Roles;
- Support the Case Directors in the design, analysis and strategic direction of the settlement to be offered to the complainant or litigant.
- Co-ordinate all internal stakeholders to ensure agreement to and sign-off of the redress requirements and strategy.
- Responsible for ensuring that the execution of the agreed redress strategy including amendments and rebooking onto various trading platforms is undertaken.
- Obtain legal advice/support on complex issues.
- Proactively communicate case information to relevant stakeholders and proactively manage the portfolio.
- Attend weekly panel meetings with key stakeholders of the Bank to opine on interest rate derivative and/or fixed rate loan complaints.
- Undertake the pricing of complex portfolios of interest rate hedging products.
Key Experience;
The candidate must have an in depth knowledge of statutory and regulatory requirements, and must be able to demonstrate:
- Specialist knowledge of Interest Rate Derivative products
- A self-starting attitude with a flexible and team focused approach
- The ability to liaise effectively with and influence internal and external stakeholders
- The ability to communicate effectively at all levels and across different audiences
- General knowledge of the SME/Retail commercial client base
- Knowledge of corporate finance, credit policy within SME/Retail Commercial
