Description

Role: Enterprise Information Architect / Delivery Lead and Data Management SME

Location: Manchester

Rate: £500-£600/day

Duration: Initial 3 month contract, rolling - programme scoped to give a good chance of extensions.

My client are looking for a best-in-class Enterprise Information Architect / Delivery Lead and Data Management SME to join them on a contract basis to help challenge the established status quo relating to how the business creates value and enables business benefits/outcomes from data across all business units.

This role needs someone who has the experience and ability to strike a balance between:

1. Designing & illustrating the benefits of doing things differently (including introducing industry standards / common standards / best practices) to senior stakeholders

2. Working in partnership with the programme delivery teams to provide input on the best roadmap to deliver the changes required to realise the benefits outlined.

This role is looking to establish the correct foundations for an in-house capability in the future, so someone who is driven by a desire to deliver quality, best-in-class principles would be well suited to this position.

I am looking for candidates with the following experience:

- Must have previously worked as an Enterprise Information Architect or equivalent role, with a track record in successful design and delivery ideally within the retail and/or financial sector

- Must have experience of conducting gap analysis

- Must have previous experience successfully designing and implementing industry & common standards, policies and best practices

- Must have previous experience designing and delivering operating models / TOMs

- Must have previous experience designing and implementing data models across a variety of business units

- Must be able to support definition and delivery of business strategy

- Must be able to constructively and empathetically challenge the status quo to bring senior level stakeholders on the journey with them to realise the benefits to adopting new approaches to data

- ie Strong stakeholder management to CXO level is important
