This is an excellent opportunity to move into a Senior role with a well known top tier consultancy.
They are looking to take on a Mechanical Engineer who wants to become a Senior Mechanical Engineer and run their own projects.

The senior engineer will, as a minimum, have gained a good honors degree in mechanical engineering.T
he senior engineer must have a MINIMUM of five years' experience in design and project engineering, gained in one or more of the following areas:
Design of Electro-mechanical instruments and assemblies.
Precision mechanisms.
Pressure-resistant structures and sealing technology.
Selection of materials for extreme environments.
Structural analysis.
Thermal management.
He/she must also be able to demonstrate that, over this period, they have had key design responsibility for successful, complex products in a high-technology sector.
Experience gained in the oil/gas industry and in particular, the downhole/Wireline sectors will be a distinct advantage.
. The senior engineer is required to have a good working knowledge of drafting standards and practices such as BS8888, issue and change control procedures.
Experience with CAD systems, in particular SolidWorks, would be an advantage
