Quality Specialist
Whitehall Resources are currently looking for a Quality Specialist (QS)
- Riyadh, Saudi
- 6-12 months Contract
- IT Quality frame work preferred rather than Government experience
- English speaking candidates only, Arabic is beneficial
Client is ideally looking for a person that has build/developed the IT Quality Assurance Framework for IT. This person should have had experience in the management of the Quality framework for IT not just projects.
The Quality Specialist (QS) is responsible to implement a Quality Assurance framework that enable IT to provide high quality, controlled and standardized IT services to business end user. QS is responsible to design document and processes templates, stage gates checklist and standard procedure in compliance with the Quality Assurance framework established.
In summary, QS will need to:
- Define and monitor Client's IT Quality Assurance framework in liaison with all IT areas
- Liaise and leverage other areas to establish QA framework
- Define templates for all processes within IT
- Maintain and centralize ITOM (Processes, governance, org chart, ect)
- Define staged gate approach, checklist and responsibilities
- Define quality checkpoints and checklists for processes
- Perform quality audits to verify the compliance with standard defined
- Enforce the implementation of project quality plans and standards for all Clients IT Portfolio projects, in collaboration with PMO
- Verify quality of requirements during delivery life cycle activities, ensuring requirements traceability
- Verify that service documentation is created based on Quality Assurance criteria and accepted by IT and business stakeholders
- Define monitoring methodology and implement monitoring activities
- Define, implement and provide quality reports to IT and business stakeholders
Quality Management
- Establish and maintain IT Quality Assurance Framework
- Define and enforce the use of templates for IT processes defined
- Define standards, guidelines and IT policies, as well as quality checkpoints and checklists to be enforced and adhered to by all areas within IT
- Centralize and own Client ITOM and ensure it is enforced by all areas and kept up to date
- Ensure completeness and operability of IT solutions ready to be deployed including handover documentation, communication to end-user, training, service availability, etc.
- Lead project and define quality management strategy, procedures and plans
- Ensure improvement criteria are built into the specifications for new services from the outset
- Manage IT processes ensuring that are properly communicated, documentation maintained and updated when required.
Monitoring & Reporting
- Analyze and validate quality of requirements and designs during delivery life cycle activities
- Measure, monitor and report quality and ensure compliance to quality standards for all IT services (including code and documentation) via specific auditing activities
Requirements & Risk Management
- Analyze and validate quality of requirements during delivery life cycle activities
- Ensure requirements traceability: track of functional, technical and non-functional requirements and their corresponding link to test components (use cases, designs, test conditions) and design documents
- Develop service readiness & risk plan & ensure that transition risks are identified and mitigated
IT Process (Document) Management
- Ensure appropriate operational service documentation is created & accepted by stakeholders prior to the introduction of a new service
- Act as a custodian of all latest documents (Processes, Organization Charts, etc.)
- Follow up with the relevant teams on a periodic basis to ensure that all the documents have been updated and the latest version shared/stored in the repository.
