Commercial Strategy Analyst/Business Analyst/Commercial Reward/Retail Franchise/Agency Networks/London.

We are looking for the services of an experienced Commercial Strategy Analyst, to join a large national organisation based in London.

The ideal candidate would have a management consultancy background, experience dealing with strategic finance and demonstrate an understanding of how business/operational dynamics affect balance sheet/P&L

. The role will be responsible for ensuring that the definition, design and selection of alternative target state options is underpinned and informed by rigorous and robust analysis, modelling and impact assessment.

Role Requirements:

  • Planning, executing and documenting internal and external analysis focusing on indicators and processes relating to the financial, sales, P & L and performance aspects of the client's business model and relationship.
  • Developing and documenting target state options for the future commercial model/relationship between client and its Agency Network
  • Developing a model which can be used to assess the commercial and performance impact of the alternative target state options under different business scenarios.
  • Applying the above model to the alternative options identified - in order to inform selection of the preferred option(s) to take forward into implementation.
  • Supporting the Solution Design Lead and Business/Technology Architects in conducting and documenting the change impact assessment of alternative target state options.
  • Supporting the Solution Design Lead and Business/Technology Architects in conducting and documenting the proposed approach to implementation (as a precursor to detailed implementation planning)

Key Criteria

  • Experience and proven track record of strategic commercial performance analysis, commercial reward in a retail franchise environment, scenario modelling and organisation design.
  • Broad based experience of strategic commercial analysis and design, including but not limited to: financial modelling, operational assessment and business models, change impact assessment, external market analysis and benchmarking
  • Capable of independently thinking through, structuring, defining and driving forward analysis and modelling activities based on high level direction, guidance and instruction.
  • Capable of distilling and presenting findings from complex analysis clearly and succinctly
