Finance Manager - Commercial Banking - 6 months - London
A top retail bank based in London currently requires a qualified Finance Manager to join a large transformation programme within Commercial Banking for an initial 6 month period.
Role Profile
This role provides finance support to an On-boarding Agile change program. Reporting to the Finance Business Partner, the role principally involves Finance Business Partnering the Delivery Lead and his/her team to understand the financial impact of business decisions, providing all month end support for both Business and IT costs, management reporting, monthly forecasting, supporting funding requests and ad hoc analysis for Steerco's and Governance forums.
Responsibilities
- Preparation of Finance Business Cases and funding requests
- Finance Lead on monthly project, program review and Steerco meetings with Key Stakeholders
- Coordinate Financial reporting to both Group and the Commercial Divisional Investment Control Team
- Assist Project Managers with calculating accruals and effecting ledger adjustments through established journal process
- Contribute to development of insightful analysis and management information identifying risks and opportunities on the Simplification portfolio
- Challenge results and consolidate commentaries from the Project Managers & PMO
