Description

A leading retail bank is seeking an experienced Business Analyst with financial services or banking experience. German language skills would be advantageous.

Role Responsibilities:

Provide a comprehensive range of analytical services to deliver business solutions which will meet the project objective.

  • They will work closely with the outsourced customer services operation in Germany as well as numerous key Stakeholders to ensure business drivers and needs are clarified.
  • Work with a range of business units, stakeholders and 3rd parties to analyse functional and non functional requirements, delivering a clear understanding of approach to the business solution to all parties.They will define business requirements to a very high standard (given the subsequent IT design & build will be done by an offshore 3rd party)
  • Heavily involved with 3rd party in UAT test case preparation and execution support.
  • They will work with 3rd party CS in Germany to re-define processes and procedured - documenting as-is if required before proceeding to re-engineer the to-be
  • Work closely with the Project Manager to help provide transparency with 3rd parties involved and assure delivery

Essential Skills and Experience required to do the role:

  • Extremely experienced Business Analyst who can demonstrate that they have performed this role at a senior level within Financial Services for at least 5 years
  • Life and Pensions experience essential, preferably with some exposure to Germany or Austria products
  • Proven ability to establish strong working relationships with stakeholders and senior management.
  • Experience of a regulatory projects is preferred
  • Proven track record of working on own initiative essential.
  • Well organised and able to prioritise workload in line with tight deadlines and work effectively under pressure

Desirable Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience working on any of the Clerical Medical International business (and systems) extremely advantageous
  • German language skills advantageous but not essential

Travel Required
Requirement to travel in the first couple of months max 2-3 days a week in Heidelberg. After this it would be every couple of weeks or once a month depending on how the project is coming along.
