Key - Looking for a true Engineer - not operations. Need 4-5 years of experience with data center design experience including routing, switching, Firewalls and load balancing.

Position Description:
The Senior Network Engineer is responsible for designing, documenting and implementing enterprise network infrastructure that must meet operations, security and business requirements. The candidate will perform assessments on existing and future solutions to provide recommendations based on it. Strong knowledge of existing and leading edge LAN and WAN networking concepts is required (routing, switching, Firewall, load balancers, wireless, monitoring tools, etc.). A Sr. Network Engineer will be expected to demonstrate innovative approaches to solving the unique challenges encountered and be able to maintain the security and integrity of the networks. The candidate should have the ability to create detail network designs based on business requirements and create the necessary documentation to implement and support the solution. Must have 6+ years of prior experience with networking technologies

Responsibilities Include:
- Design and implement local and global IP Networks for LAN, WAN and Data Center environments and ensure Equifax infrastructure upgrade processes and procedures for each project scope are followed
- Produce detailed designs and cost estimates for network solutions, adhering to network architecture standards
- Engage on Business Unit projects to elicit network requirements, specifications and project scope
- Interface with Security teams to engineer and implement network security policies
- Research and test network management and monitoring products and tools to maintain and enhance current functionality
- Provide Level 3 diagnosis and advanced troubleshooting when required
- Prepare budgetary presentations for senior management
- Create and maintain IT documentation

Required Skills and Experience:

- Deep expertise with network protocols including TCP/IP, EIGRP, BGP, and OSPF
- Extensive product knowledge of Cisco Routers and Switches, F5 load balancers, Checkpoint or Juniper Firewalls, Cisco or Aruba enterprise wireless and network monitoring tools (Orion, Netscout, etc.)
- Thorough understanding of WAN provider offerings including MPLS, VPN, Frame-Relay, Metro Ethernet and point to point technologies
- Comprehensive experience designing and supporting converged networks, including VoIP, video, data and QoS
- Ability to create and/or execute an implementation plan, including doing the background research and writing the plan if needed
- Extensive experience with network security technologies, including Firewalls, Network Access Control, intrusion detection/prevention, and network forensics
- Wide-ranging knowledge of Network Management tools and utilities
- Strong technical background in data center technologies including racking, physical cabling and facilities management
- Strong analytical, design, engineering, planning and problem solving skills
- Strong presentation and interpersonal communication skills, including proficiency with MS Visio, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Good documentation skills to accurately document physical and logical network infrastructures
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related discipline is required

Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Cisco, F5, or Checkpoint certifications
- CISSP certification
- Familiarity with emerging network technologies
- Familiarity with Project Management methodologies and tools
- Knowledge of credit reporting industry
