Senior process engineer

Immediately sought: Pharmaceutical Process Engineer. This position is based in the Antwerp area at the manufacturing facility of a large pharmaceutical manufacturer.

Duties and Responsibilities Include:

In this position you will provide engineering expertise for standardizing existing processes as well as process improvement implementations (6 Sigma). This concerns a 7 months project with possible extension.

Responsibilities are:

*To develop and implement product manufacturing process improvements for existing processes (in collaboration with the Industrial Operations Team)
*Deviation management and troubleshooting if manufacturing problems occur
*Providing engineering expertise for other teams (validation, manufacturing, packaging)
*Providing input for the R&D teams throughout the development phases.
*Transition new products into production working as a member of the technology transfer team to ensure that the new product meets production, quality, and compliance requirements
*Providing input for Lean training programme

Ideally I'm looking for someone with broad knowledge in pharmaceutical process engineering.

Furthermore, I'm looking for someone with:

*A BSc. or MSc. in Process or Chemical engineering or other relevant field
*Thorough knowledge on working in GMP regulated environments
*Experience in lean implementations (preferably Greenbelt + certified)
*Fluent in English (Dutch is a bonus)

The start date for this position is the 1st of February 2016. Interviews are expected to take place the 26th and 27th if January.
