Travel: Up to 50% for attendance of meetings off site and at other locations. Will give mileage reimbursement.
Job Description:
- The primary focus of this position is on analysing financial data as it relates to capital projects.
- Leads and/or coordinates the analysis and review of cash forecasting reporting, in conjunction with the National Facilities Services (NFS) Management and Regional Planning Departments.
- Identifies and manages cost trend data and schedule impacts and brings the information to the attention of the Project Manager and Project Team.
Top Daily Responsibilities:
- Validating overall project cost and schedule with available system information as well as information provided by the project manager and relevant stakeholders.
- Analyzing available data through the life cycle of project, to help identify potential risks in the forecasts provided by a project team.
Required Education, Experience, and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
- Minimum 6 years' financial or project controls experience, including 2 years in architectural, design, contracting, and project management or construction environment.
- Construction finance/accounting background.
- Very good skills with systems/technology.
- Very proficient with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Very strong analytical skills.
- Ability to multi-task and work within a team environment.
- Ability to work under pressure.
