Enterprise Architect & Solutions Designer - 3 month contract based in Meath
This role is required to:
- Design the to be enterprise architecture for company entity
- Specify architectural system and non-functional requirements for the policy administration system
and other systems within the to be architecture that will support the growth strategy (other systems
will include: workflow, finance, HR, data management, order management, fund administration etc.)
- Design and implement a future proofed methodology for the management of interfaces work with
external vendors and internal technical teams on the design and integration of systems into the architecture
The IT Architect will work on a series of strategic initiatives, all of which are working towards the same goal.
The role operates at two levels
-Enterprise Architecture: conceptual, design how our architecture should work.
-Solution Designer: practical, regularly document architecture and design options, blueprints etc. Work with vendor and customer architects and technical teams troubleshooting and finding ways forward.
The right candidate will be a self-starter, someone who looks for solutions, builds strong relationships and is happy working under pressure. Comfortable at working with both high level concepts and low level detail they will be a professional who is focused ondelivery and bringing a vision to life.
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years' solution design and/or enterprise architecture experience.
- Should have a basic knowledge of all main stream platforms, Windows and Unix implementations and SOA architectures.
- A certification in TOGAF and/or a background in software development would be an advantage.
