Your tasks:
- Define mechanical structures and systems for industrial equipment and operating systems on rail vehicles
- Participate in Verification and Validation (V&V) processes for projects through design review, tests, technical documentation both internal and external
- May produce, or work with a team to produce, full documentation for new products. This includes systems approach tools such as functional block diagrams, FMEA, flow diagrams and others as required by specific designs
- Meet deadlines to ensure projects are completed within acceptable time and cost targets
- Must be able to make design trade-offs to insure lowest overall cost, highest reliability and best in class performance
Your qualifications
- Experience with design analysis tools including Solid Edge, Six Sigma, DFMEA, and transfer functions
- Informed rail industry engineering experience
- University Level Degree in Mechanical Engineering is required
- Knowledge of tests and certification process at EMC level, both for emission and immunity fields
- Good German and Englisch skills
