At Sirius Business Group we supply highly skilled competencies, to secure good performance of our customers projects. This means that you will work directly with our customer, one of the frontrunners within renewable energy.
Right now we are searching for a qualified WTG engineer, to expand our broad range of competencies within the wind-energy sector. By joining Sirius, you will be involved in some of the most exciting offshore wind projects in the world!
These projects are not just exciting, they are also among the largest ever done. From your office in Denmark, you will be an integrated part of Design, Procurement, Documentation, Planning and coordination activities within the project.
The main tasks you will work with:
- Technical requirements, specifications and conduct verification activities at relevant project stages
- Supplying the technical knowledge for supplier audits.
Within your scope of responsibility, you must also ensure:
- Detailed design of technical solutions
- Technical clarifications and communication with contractor during tenders, contract negotiations and project execution of matters
- That risk- and interface registers are maintained during projects
Also you are expected to recommend:
- Technical solutions or changes within scope
- Product quality control activities incl. FAIs, FATs and SATs within scope and responsibility
- Corrective and preventive actions to product quality issues
On top of the main tasks, you must expect to participate in other upcoming requests. This could involve stuff like working with Electrical davit crane concept (from design, specification to offshore commissioning) for wind turbine foundations, verify earthing and equipotential bonding design for foundations, review and qualify new suppliers, amongst other ad-hop support tasks.
We therefor expect you to be a well rounded profile, holding a BSc or MSc in electrical engineering, having at least 2 years of practical and theoretical within both project management and WTG electrical components, systems and interfaces for wind farms.
We expect you to have experience with:
- Drafting technical requirements for contracts in English
- Documenting design in reports (eg for certification purposes)
- IEC standards:
- IEC
- IEC
- IEC 61346
- Working with UPS power back-up systems incl. environmental considerations
- LV installations and HV installations of up to 36kV
- Short circuit calculations and earthing conductor ratings based on IT software available on consultant laptop.
