Description
Roc Search's client is urgently seeking Solidworks Design Engineers for rolling contracts based in Surrey. The successful candidate would ideally be from an Automotive background.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following;
1. To assist the Chief Engineer and/or Senior Design Engineer in the delivery of project/product line requirements.
2. Solid modelling and detailing of products using SolidWorks.
3. Control of Bill of Materials (BoM), CAD Models and Engineering Drawings.
4. Engineer to all appropriate product targets, eg cost, weight, strength, etc.
5. Assist in the generation of and deliver to project timing.
6. Ensure appropriate material selection.
7. Ensure manufacturing feasibility of product designs.
8. Work in accordance to ISO9000 procedures.
A Design Engineer that has not worked within the Automotive sector or on specialist vehicle design, but who has worked in a similar aligned industry, like Aerospace or Defence, may also be considered.
