Chemical Process Technician
A chemical process technician/plater is required for special processes including heat treatment, anodising and plating.
Contract: Initially 6 months
Location: Birmingham
Rate: £15 neg + shifts dependent on experience

A world leading aero engine control design and manufacturer.
The Role
The role will be working within the Special Process team covering, Wet Chemical Plating, Heat Treatment, Specialist Paint Spraying and Inspection of machined components.
The Candidate
You will have experience of working within a special process/wet chemical environment, anodising and plating (Bronze, Copper, Nickel and Chrome) machined components, with the ability to identify and rectify any problems or faults with non-conforming parts. You will have a thorough understanding of Health and Safety within a department that works with Hazardous Chemicals (Chromic, Sulphuric).
You must be willing to work any shift pattern.
