Detailed Description:

"The role will be in charge to manage as Engineer the Storage Area Network (SAN) of EMC2:

- Technical reference for Service Platforms Integration
- Refining procedure of capacity management
- Vendor Management
- Lead and release technical documentation
- Provides advanced technical and/or business consultative services during the pre-sales and/or post-sales cycle.
- Develops and cultivates strong customer relationships ensuring a ''Customers for Life'' relationship.
- Provides technical leadership during the implementation of an engagement.
- Participates in the installation, customization, and integration of an Vendor solution.
- Maintains awareness of existing or potential customer software/hardware/systems situations.
- Proactively alerts project management and sales team of potential problems and solutions.
- Stays current on technical specifications for hardware/software requirements of Vendor and industry products through professional associations, trade journals, networking.
- Responsible for sharing information and best practices with others.
- Supports the design of the technical content defined in the statement of work.
- Prepares technical architectural and implementation design documents and works with the project management to develop the implementation plan.
- Works closely with the project management to define project deliverables and schedules.
- Helps to identify and leverage Vendor and partner resources in order to satisfy the technical needs and objectives of the implementation.
- May be responsible for the creation of proposals that address current and evolving client requirements.
- Prepares, maintains and submits activity/progress reports and time recording/management reports in accordance with published procedures.
- May supervise staff on project engagements.

Required Skills:

- Experience in delivery solution of SAN
- EMC2 VPLEX/VNX/VMAX Solutions Architect
- VMware vCloud Director, (nice to have)
- VMware vSphere 5.x Enterprise Plus (nice to have)
- Experience in technical project management with deep knowledge in standard methodologies
- Analytical ability.
- Project management skills.
- Proficiency in hardware, software and/or operating systems environments.
- Experience in migration plan/procedure of SAN
- Excellent IP Networking fundamentals
- Leadership Skills.
- Excellent English language Skills
- Availability to travel (for meeting purposes)
- Location: Milan
