COAX Capacity Planning Engineer (HFC, DOCSIS 3.0,DOCSIS 3.1)
Our client has received the assignment from the largest telecom operator in the country to upgrade the coax network from DOCSIS 3.0 to DOCSIS 3.1, enabling the Danish consumers to receive a speed of 1 GB/S. This country will be the first country in world who will upgrade an entire cable network to Giga COAX .
Job description:
You will be responsible for capacity management of coax network. You will support our customers in all technical aspects and improve the relationship to our main Service Provider accounts.

Responsibilities:
Responsible for the HFC network capacity management, for both Docsis 3.0 and Docsis 3.1.
Responsible for monitoring the capacity load of VOD and Data service of each coax network, and D3.0/D3.1 modems.
Generate capacity reports, based on capacity load, make capacity expansion plans, and coordinate with project team to get expansion executed.
Communicate with customer for capacity management, solve the issues raised by customer.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or above in telecommunication engineering, electrical engineering or other relevant fields.
8+ years work experience in HFC domain, and 5+ years experience with coax network capacity planning and design
Fluent in English is mandatory, ability to speak Danish is preferred.
Good team-worker, with good communication interpersonal skill, having service consciousness.
