Senior Network/System Engineer (Cisco)
Westcon Customer is one of the leading Cisco partners in the Netherlands. The success of our method, the number of large and beautiful projects steadily growing, enabling us to further expand seeking deployable experienced Cisco System Engineers.
The function
As a Senior System Engineer, you play a crucial role in the implementation of projects. You are responsible for the low level design and implementation. Since you are responsible for the technical realization of the project, you have a key role within the project team and you have intensive contact with the customer and with our own System Engineers. Along with your teammates, you are technically responsible for the realization of the complete communication network. In addition, you may participate in multidisciplinary project teams and you are technically responsible for your project from A to Z.
We are looking for:
-Cisco specialist with higher professional education and a minimum of 5 years experience as a Network Engineer/Specialist. The ideal candidate will have a helicopter view to see the big technical whole.
-Deep Cisco product knowledge (minimum Cisco CCNP, preferably Cisco CCIE) and has good communication skills.
-Enthusiasm, passion and thinking in solutions are key qualities that we all ask our colleagues.
-You are a team player who can also work independently, is service to the customer and also to the internal organization.
-Furthermore you are motivated, flexible and show your own initiative.
