Mechanical Engineer - Gas DistributionMy client supply multi-discipline engineering services to the gas distribution industry, including Mechanical, Civil and EC&I.
They are currently looking to build a team on client site in Leeds which includes a Mechanical Engineer on a 12 month contract.
The job entails:
- Technical support, design and calculations of gas pipeline distribution network
- Bid appraisals
- Preparation of data sheets
- Preparation hazardous area drawings and site layouts
- Attendance of site surveys
The Candidate will:
- Hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Have experience in high pressure equipment and ideally will have worked with National Grid or another network.
- Recently have completed FEED and detailed design stages.
- Have developed Score of Work and tenders.
- Be AutoCAD conversant
