Solutions/Technical Designer- Hook - Contract
Square One are looking for a Solutions/Technical Designer to come on board for a 6 month contract based in Hook, Hampshire paying excellent daily rates.
- You will be in charge of generating Infrastructure Designs that meet the business requirements and conform to IT Infrastructure Standards.
- Provide documentation of proposed solution for sign-off. This would also include providing indicative Bill of Materials and costs for the proposed platform.
- To provide input in non-functional requirements of projects and initiatives so to ensure all IT operational and infrastructural aspects are fully considered from the outset.
- Provide input into planning for the implementation of any proposed solution - including estimates for resource availability and timeframes.
- Liaise with IT Development/Integration Test Lab Teams to provide design specifications for any Non-Production environments required.
- Working with the IT S&O Technical & Operational teams eg Data Centre, Server, Storage to ensure that the environments are ready to accept the solution.
- This includes understanding of available capacity of shared infrastructure.
This is a 6 month contract based in Hook looking to start immediately with interviews scheduled for this week with a potential start date of Monday 8th February 2016.
