Description

This is an important role in the Corporate Banking Finance team, reporting directly to the Corporate Head of Planning & Stress Testing for Corporate Banking Stress Testing (EBA/PRA) and Recovery & Resolution Plan activities (RRP). You'll have exposure to a wide range of Business Stakeholders and support various projects improving the Stress Testing and RRP.

It will involve:

Manager

  • Responsible for coordinating and executing Corporate Bank Stress Testing/RRP activities and regulatory submissions
  • Leading in design and execution of Stress Testing templates and analytical tools to challenge Stress Test results and recovery option in order to perform scenario and sensitivity analysis and support the strategic decision-making process of senior stakeholders (CFO, CEO, and Business etc.)
  • Leading further development and improvement of Corporate Consolidation model
  • Assisting in running of central process, supporting Corporate Head of Planning and Stress Testing, helping co-ordinate submissions and improve submissions from product areas
  • Acting as delegate for Group meetings where required
  • Supporting in analysing stress test results, synthesising findings and creation of output summaries to Senior Leadership and committee presentations
  • Helping anticipate and respond to questions from the key stakeholders and Regulators
  • Liaison with Risk and Treasury to ensure successful completion of both Stress tests

Person Specification

Manager

  • Proven experience in banking and sound knowledge of EBA/PRA Stress Testing
  • Experience of EBA/PRA Stress Testing reviews and risk stress testing development for Finance Central Functions (advantage, not essential)
  • Track record of strategic thinking and business awareness, while holding excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills
  • Proven track record of project delivery with experience to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Modelling skills to be able to manage modelling enhancements and changes and at times update models or perform ad-hoc analysis
  • Leadership skills to help manage the team

Experience and Qualifications

  • Qualified accountant with a degree from a leading university (2:1 or above)
  • Finance experience in a large organisation/Big 4
