Define the architecture for new services.

Review the product/marketing requirements to ensure that they are detailed and unambiguous to move from architectural to design phase.

Participate during design, development and integration phases to ensure that delivered system adheres to the architecture and design.
Validate that there is proper alignment between the product requirements and the developed solutions.
Job requirements
-
Graduate degree in IT or Telecommunications (Relevant equivalent experience also considered).

More than 5 years of experience in an systems engineering role (design or development) in IT or DTV/IPTV environment.

Theoretical and working knowledge of: Service Oriented Architecture and ESB; XML, Web 2.0 and Web Services Technologies; IP Networking; Unix/Linux

Proven track record of active technical participation in engineering projects.

Must have excellent interpersonal skills, to maintain and develop effective working relationships with other peers

Must have excellent problem solving skills and attention for detail - Must be proactive, with a desire to continuously improve system solutions, documentation and process & procedures

English, both spoken and written, must be excellent.

Managed architecture and design deliverables in JIRA.
-
Design documentation for new services and systems.
-
Weekly progress reports on design/development status per system release.
