DESCRIPTION:
The Change Management Agent will work in conjunction with various Project Managers, support day-to-day change management activities for unrelated, complex project(s), or inter-related projects of a tactical nature within a program.
- Obtain technical requirements for change request ticket(s)
- Determine resource requirements for change request ticket(s)
- Confirm resource availability and secure resources
- Obtain technical details/tasks
- Create implementation plan
- Lead and manage implementation plan reviews
- Create a CHG ticket in ServiceNow
- Schedule change
- Obtain approvals (from manager, stakeholders, etc )
- Obtain tasks acceptance
- Attend project meetings
- Address/follow-up with Manager with any concerns
- Communicate to project team of scheduled change
- Manage/coordinate change implementation (including communication)
- Close successful change or review unsuccessful change
- Work closely with Project Managers, technical subject matter experts SME, vendors
SKILLS:
- Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent.
- ITIL Foundations certification (an asset).
- 1+ years experience in change management
- Banking experience (an asset)
- 1+ years of ServiceNow (an asset)
- Create ServiceNow change management tickets, achieve approval for tickets and follow through until completion.
- 3 years of technical infrastructure work experience
- Knowledge of SAN, NAS, Databases, Server Backups, VMWare, LAN/WAN, VoIP, Cisco, Cloud, Information Security, Firewalls, Server patches
- Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools.
- Good working knowledge of PowerPoint, Word, Excel, SharePoint, MS Project
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to create visually appealing materials, simply describing complex concepts
- Project Coordinator skills, able to manage priorities and coordinate many activities at the same time
- Experience with large scale organizational change management projects or programs.
