Your tasks:
- Full and comprehensive review of Financial processes in German business working closely with the EMEA finance managers in the UK
- Manage German accounting team ensuring they are kept well motivated
- Ensure adherence to monthly, quarterly and year end timetables
- Financial interface for German business fulfilling a business partner role
- Accurate and correct treatment of revenue and cost recognition of projects and contracts and software platform and services
- Sales force reporting, ensure that won business has correct official documents before confirming won status
- Monitor contract renewals
- Oversee and manage cash forecasting
- Elimination accounting
- Conduct month financial reviews with project teams to facilitate changes and updates to monthly projects revenues and costs forecast
Your qualifications
- Ability to quickly adapt and add value
- Fluency in English
- In-depth knowledge of Excel, spreadsheet modelling design capability
- Be comfortable with a hands on approach needed for a SME whilst having an appreciation for working for a larger global business
- Ability to sensitively challenge current working practices
- Ability to cope with a high degree of ambiguity, fully embrace and support change whilst working under pressure
- High level of financial problem solving skills
- Good communication and diplomacy skills
- Strong time management, organisational and planning skills
- High level of Financial systems literacy including Excel and financial modelling
