Role - Implementation Delivery Manager
Location - Dublin, Ireland
Responsibilities:
- Delivers and manages large and complex network rollout projects through all phases including, presales, analysis, planning execution and closure working with internal and customer stakeholders.
- Ensures project governance and controls by usage of required project documentation and adherence to the clients Network Rollout process
- Ensures that all commitments are met in accordance with contracted project deliverables.
- Financial Management, control of project budget and project margin, and reporting as to status of same.
- Mobilises, structures and leads a Matrix project team in a technology environment, ensuring effective control of project communications within the team supporting the sharing of ideas, information and knowledge to the extent needed for the successful project completion.
- Support Customer Project Managers on issues impinging on their progress and provide feedback on team members' performance on the project
- Manages sub-contractor teams with an ability to track and manage their outputs and deliverables in accordance with the overall project milestones.
- Management of risk to ensure that risks and associated mitigation strategies are planned for during project execution.
- Quality Management to ensure project outcome fulfills the contracted quality requirements and that the project is performed in a manner that is in accordance with applicable legislation and corporate directive, eg Health and Safety legislation.
- Driving competence build within the team and championing knowledge sharing activities including mentoring and coaching other team members.
Experience
Delivery Management experience ranging from 3-8 years in a predominantly Network Rollout & Implementation environment working on large or strategically critical projects with proven responsibility in all phases of project delivery including, presales, analysis, planning, execution and closure.
A proven track record of successful project implementation
Strong Leadership skills with evidence of having been identified as a leader in previous roles or assignments. Individual should demonstrate experience in leading diverse teams in varied situations.
Ability to be flexible and adaptable in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
Business oriented approach with proven ability to understand and make and influence decisions in a commercial context.Financial understanding and ability to apply same to manage cost efficient solutions.
Ability to foster motivation within the project team to meet tight deadlines.
Ability to have a strong impact and influence key decisions.
Proactive attitude, strong teamwork focus, strong performance ethics, high professionalism and high energy.
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project.
Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
