Medical Science Liaison Specialist, Noord Brabant - Global Brand

Medical Science Liaison, Medical Liaison, Project Manager, Project Coordinator, Clinical study, strategy, Communication, Research, collaboration, documentation.

This 6-12 month position is for a proactive Medical Science Liaison specialist. The successful individual will demonstrate a strong Medical/Pharmaceutical background in addition to Project Management & Coordination skills.

This is a real communication, information and research related position in the sense that as you can work remotely/from home there will be a need to build strong relationship and have a solid background in stakeholder management, working with QA team, Study groups, affiliates and sales teams.

You will look to create value for patients through medical and scientific data discussions and projects, services and expertise, with scientific customers within the cardiovascular therapeutic area, maximising the organisation's potential.

Key activities:
- Develops required qualitative and quantitative reports; collates competitor information - Executes physician engagement plan as developed by the medical advisor in collaboration with the brand team.
- Represents Medical department.
- Translates documentation and requirements accordingly.
- Identifies new research opportunities and proactively shares ideas and insights with medical advisor.
- Ensures conduct of work in line with compliance regulations .
- Supports Medical Advisor & Therapeutic Area Head in developing local territory R&D tactics.

Qualifications:
- Medical or scientific education or experience from similar positions in Medical Liaison, Medical Writer, MSL type positions.
- Relevant academic background, preferably to an advanced level.

The successful MSL will be proactive with strong relationship, stakeholder management & communication skills. Any commercialisation and business practice knowledge in this area will be highly advantageous. In addition awareness of compliance, drug safety and areas related to Cardiovascular will be a great advantage in this position.

*Strong commercial experience in industry, or a related scientific field in a similar Project Coordinator, Study and/or Medical Liaison type position
*Experience in affiliate Medical Department or Clinical Development
*Exposure to working with sales and business development teams
*Willingness to travel; possesses valid driver's license
*Experience with clinical study management and conduct
*Medical/scientific research experience
