Description

Staff Diploma:

* Bachelors degree in engineering (Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications), or equivalent professional ICT experience.

Staff Skills:

* Minimum of 6 years relevant experience in networking and IT security technology: practical experience in network troubleshooting is essential on network equipment together with experience in the field of hardware installation, system integration, testing and servicing activities.

* Practical Experience with following brands: CISCO, JUNIPER, CHECKPOINT, FORTINET, BLUE-COAT&

* Cisco CCNP and/or Juniper JNCIP accredited.

* Detailed knowledge of data communication protocols (TCP/IP,DNS, HTTP/S, FTP...), Firewall Security, VPN Technologies, Load Balancing, SSL, Proxy, Routing, Switching

* Knowledge of Quality of Service and experience designing/implementing QoS in an enterprise envi-ronment.

* Familiar with network management tools and SIEM. (eg CA Spectrum & Splunk)

* Familiar with design concepts in LAN/WAN design.

* Experience in a project environment, quality/security standards, configuration management & tools

* Good knowledge of MS Office tools Word, Excel,Visio.

* Ability to draft clear and concise technical papers in English.

* The languages of the Agency are English and French. For this particular post candidates must have a good knowledge of English. Knowledge of Dutch/German would be an advantage.

2.4 SPECIAL PROVISIONS AND SECURITY:

Seen the nature of the activities performed by the EUROCONTROL Maastricht UAC, the personnel working at the premises need to have a security clearance.

This implies that each individual staff member of the contracting company put at the disposal of the Agency will need to provide a Bewijs van goed gedrag (B) of Verklaring omtrent het gedrag (NL) or equivalent which normally is provided by the municipal police of the place of residence.

The contracting company shall make provisions to have such a security clearance for all staff members that will (potentially) be put at work at Maastricht UAC, prior to making them available. The contract will not be signed if these are missing.
