Physical Design Systems Engineer
A Physical Design Systems Engineer Services Engineer is required to work on a six month contract (with the possibility of extension) for our Defence client based in Weymouth.
This is a 6 month contract working for UK leading defence company.
Overview of the Physical Design Systems Engineer contract role
The role is to provide the technical leadership for the Physical Design team providing Mechanical & Electrical design expertise to enable the Combat System Design to be developed, qualified and installed on both in build and in service submarines
Key skills required for the Physical Design Systems Engineer
- Extensive experience of technical leadership/engineering management.
- Able to deliver the mechanical and electrical engineering aspects of complex electronic systems.
- Mechanical and Electrical Engineer.
- Degree qualified and ideally a chartered engineer.
The role is based in Weymouth, Dorset - commutable from Dorchester, Poole, Bournemouth, Christchurch, Blandford Forum, Bere Regis, Bovington, Sherborne, Yeovil, Crewkerne, Honiton, Axminster, Lyme Regis and Bridport
