Description

Our pharmaceutical client is looking for contract support on the engineering of a new pellet line. The location is 30 minutes from Hanover and the initial duration of the contract is 12 months, with the likelihood of extension.



Key Responsibilities will include:

Work within the client project team to realise, oversee and manage the installation of a new pellet line – API / Packaging.



- Leading / attending internal meetings

- Managing, coordinating and communicating with internal and external stakeholders

- Writing user requirements for production equipment

- Compare equipment vendor proposals

- Oversee selected equipment suppliers

- Budget management

- Project Scheduling    

- Installation, Commissioning & Qualification

- Handover to operations



Main Equipment (secondary experience) – 2 x Mixers; Granulator; Doser Unit; Pellet coater; Fluid Bed Dryer; Pellet presser (note, Pellet might also be known as Tablet)



This role will report into the Senior Project Manager.



Experience:



Essential:



- Process / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering degree or similar work experience.

- ATEX experience

- Fluent German and English language skills required.

- Relevant work experience in the secondary pharmaceutical sector including good GMP / FDA experience (5 years plus commercial experience required)



Nice to have:



- A proven track record in delivery of complex cross-functional projects, ideally upgrade / revamp / brownfield projects.

- Experience working as a project engineer on engineering projects demonstrating the required technical know-how.

- Experience working with pharmaceutical equipment, production lines as well as oral solid dosage formulations, drug product or API / packaging.

- The job-holder must be a highly self-motivated and an energised individual with strong drive and reputation for on-time delivery, able to present complex material in a succinct manner appropriate to support prompt decision making.
