Description

Summary
  • Communications Contractor with exceptional project management and writing skills to join the integration communications team.
  • The Communications Contractor supports the execution of the integration related communication strategy by supporting the specific needs of the Engineering and Services teams and connecting effectively with the other core integration work streams.
  • The Engineering and Services Communications Lead will work closely with the initiative Change Lead and Manager, Integration Communications to update, inform and guide stakeholders impacted by changes resulting from the associated work streams initiatives, programs and projects.
  • The Change Lead will guide The Engineering and Services Communications Lead on issues of change management, stakeholder identification and profiling, and change impact assessment.
  • The Engineering and Services Communications Lead will guide the Change Lead on communication strategy and planning, messaging, writing and working with the broader Communication team to deliver and publish communications.
  • The role includes execution of a variety of communications primarily through email and the project & corporate Intranet pages.
  • The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented and thrives in a fast-paced, deadline oriented culture.
Duties
  • Assemble all relevant content and knowledge required for the creation of integration communications.
  • Help develop integration messaging, message map and key messages. Emphasis will be on clarity of the content and how to effectively share the information with key stakeholder groups.
  • Assist broader Integration Communication Team in identifying messages that must be communicated to leadership and to all employees.
  • Drive the review and approval processes for key integration related communications.
  • Work within Communication Team on deployment of integration communications.
  • With the guidance of the Manager, Integration Communications, drive the creation of a communication plan for key integration work streams.
  • With the guidance of the Change Team, identify impacted stakeholders and understand the nature of changes that will be experienced.
  • Identify specific mission critical milestones, create content and maintain communications calendar for several key integration work streams. Maintain the communications calendar, communications project pipeline and posting schedule
  • Tracks, analyzes and reports on key communications metrics
  • Assists in the development of PowerPoint, Word and Excel presentations for multiple audiences.
  • Helps oversee maintenance of integration content on the Intranet, including posting stories and updates
  • Performs other duties as required
Desired Skills & Experience
  • BA/BS degree in communications, public relations, journalism, or marketing is preferred
  • Minimum 3-5 years related experience in either corporate or agency environment in communications required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite. Eloqua, SharePoint or Content Management Systems experience a plus.
  • Familiarity with Smart Sheet is preferred as it has proven to be an effective tool to manage the communication plan.
  • Ability to take initiative and balance priorities in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders and diverse subject matter
  • Strong organizational, attention to detail, time management, and project management skills
  • Strong verbal and non-verbal communications skills
  • Has an awareness of and appreciation for strategic use of communication across various channels.
  • Prior experience creating, managing and executing communication plans
  • Prior experience working in transformation initiatives
