Independent Sales Representative

A rapidly growing athletic apparel manufacturer in the Cleveland area is looking for Independent Sales Representatives (1099 Independent Contractors) to cover 2 open territories- California/Nevada and the Western Region, (CO, UT, AZ, NM, ID, MT, & WY)

We carry futsal & soccer shoes, equipment, & apparel, along with running & fitness, for a well-recognized global brand.

You must have a hunter's attitude and a passion for building relationships. You will sell into specialty dealers and multi-sport retailers and help market to the soccer community. You will also have the opportunity to sell other sports and products.

You will be given a specific territory in which to build relationships and sell. You will be given sales samples and will be supported by marketing materials including POP, catalogs, banners, posters, and other targeted support items for your efforts in the field.

Responsibilities:

  • Generate and Pursue Sales Leads
  • Actively Promote and Sell our Footwear and Athletic Wear
  • Provide Monthly Updates to Sales Management on Status of key accounts
  • Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales goals
  • Collect valuable feedback from customers and prospective customers
  • Identify and attend strategic events and collaborate with internal team to develop a strategy to effectively promote our brand
  • Promote brands via approved social media outlets (subject to our final approval)
  • Support payment collection activity from Customers
  • Identify the specific events that our brand should attend and provide event details by a date to be determined.
  • Help secure participation at these events by leveraging relationships
  • Attend events and promote and/or sell our products when applicable
  • Collect, Organize and Present valuable feedback and data to management from prospects and customers

Requirements:

  • Minimum of least 2 years of territory-related sales experience
  • Ability to travel a large geographic area
  • Develop and maintain product knowledge
  • Customer Service - Excellent organizational skills & follow up skills
  • Computer proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to work well independently with desire to take initiative

Salary:

Compensation is 10%. You will be expected to contribute ideas about future needs and products. In this program reps will be heard. Start immediately.
