Our client is upgrade the largest Danish coax network from DOCSIS 3.0 to DOCSIS 3.1, enabling the Danish consumers to receive a speed of 1 GB/S.
Job description:
You will be responsible for capacity management of the coax network. You will support our customers in all technical aspects.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the HFC network capacity management, for both Docsis 3.0 and Docsis 3.1.
- Responsible for monitoring the capacity load of VOD and Data service of each coax network, and D3.0/D3.1 modems.
- Generate capacity reports, based on capacity load, make capacity expansion plans, and coordinate with project team to get expansion executed.
- Communicate with the clients customer for capacity management and solve the issues raised by customer.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or above in telecommunication engineering, electrical engineering or other relevant fields.
- 8+ years work experience in HFC domain, and 5+ years experience with coax network capacity planning and design
- Fluent in English is mandatory, ability to speak Danish is preferred.
- Good team-worker, with good communication interpersonal skill, having service consciousness.
