A leading energy and utilities client of Pontoon is looking for a Social Media Manager to join their team in Warwick.
Job Purpose:- Govern social media channels. Provide training and support to the business. Align communication plans and messaging across owned/paid for media.
Knowledge and Experience Requirements:-
- Experienced social media manager with a strong track record of managing stakeholder and customer engagement through social
- Educated to degree/postgraduate degree level with demonstrable professional development.
- Proven experience of working within a large, global, complex organisation within a multi-stakeholder environment.
- Able to manage change, transformation and engagement, working with and through others to influence and support new ways of working.
- Knowledge and understanding of communication processes, social media development and governance, research, data analysis and performance measurement across diverse stakeholders.
- Strong networking, influencing and negotiation skills
- Well organised individual able to manage a diverse and complex workload
- Confident, articulate and persuasive communicator, across all media, able to take ownership of challenging issues in an appropriate and capable manner
- Strong writer across a range of social media channels
- Able to provide guidance and encourage behaviour change at all levels of the organisation, demonstrating authority and expertise
