Description
We are currently working with a World leader in Medical Devices who are looking to bring on a Senior Safety Scientist on a 12 month contract ASAP. This position is based in Scotland and offers a fantastic opportunity for career development. In your role as a Senior Safety Scientist you will be responsible for the following tasks:- Compile and analyse technical data, identify causes, draw conclusions, generate reports and/or posters, as required.
- Lead people, directing day-to-day work within a project
- Manage processes and ensures that activity goals are achieved in accordance with R&D strategy
- May draft R&D protocols for approval
- Responsible for maintaining compliance, consistency of work practices and quality of work
- May identify and implement process level efficiency's with supervision.
- Work on a wide of technical problems and select/implement solutions at the appropriate decision-making level.
- Contribute to and influence cross-functional or global projects
- Apply knowledge of experimental design, conduct experiments, analyse data with limited guidance and drive experiments/investigations for business needs.
- Participate in, and may lead, a team working on a sub project.
