MARKETING AND COMMUNICATIONS BUSINESS PARTNER - EDINBURGH - 3 months INITIAL

Our Edinburgh based client has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Marketing and Communications Business Partner for an initial 3 months.

You will be the account manager between business areas and our central marketing services, responsible for planning and overseeing the production of engaging content - including web pages and other marketing-focused collateral. You will liaise directly with internal clients to interpret their requirements into working, professional content and finished products in line with the brand guidelines. You will manage the annual planning process for your priority area, and may line manage the Communication Officer role, as well as liaise with the central creative and web teams and other external suppliers to ensure successful project delivery.

Essential

  • Experience of developing and managing innovative communication and engagement plans tailored to a wide-variety of stakeholder needs
  • Experience of providing specialist advice and guidance with respect to communication approaches, especially at a senior level
  • Track record of effectively project managing internal and external resources to deliver to brief, on budget and on-time
  • Substantial experience of working in client-facing role delivering on objectives and operational priorities, in line with an organisation's strategic plan and within brand guidelines
  • Experience of managing a team
  • Excellent organisational skills - ability to prioritise tasks and manage changing priorities
  • Demonstrated ability to write, edit and proof content
  • Experience of evaluating and reporting on communication activities and using these to inform future decision-making
  • Clear understanding of how to use research and analytics to inform and support creative concepts and decision-making
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication (oral and written)
  • Creative and innovative approach to problem solving
  • Excellent IT skills, including experience using a corporate CMS
