Description

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer on behalf of one of one our most reputable pharmaceutical clients in Europe. The position is being offered on the basis of a 12-month contract with a possibility for extension. The position offers a competitive hourly rate of Euros 30-35 p/hour. The ideal candidate will preferably be based in Cork, Ireland or be willing to pay interview travel expenses

Your responsibilities will include
The senior Quality Engineer will utilise tools and practices to maximise efficiency throughout the product life cycle. You will be working with state of the art technology, maintaining and improving products and processes and ensuring that all procedures are in line with the overall vision of the business.

You will be assisting with design controls, risk management, investigation and new product introduction as well as accountability and ownership of Quality metrics, conducting investigations and analysing the effectiveness of preventive and corrective actions

The ideal candidate will have an extensive knowledge of Production/Process Controls including Control Plans, risk assessment and interpretation of GMP regulations. You will Collect various data by utilising statistical analysis tools to interpret and improve current process

Must have demonstrable experience of:
-Proven track record in Compliance & Continuous improvement projects
-Ability to interpret engineering drawings/specifications/
-Knowledge of various inspection methods
-Technical knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean methodologies, as well as measurement system analysis such as SPC, DOE's and Reliability

Essential:
- Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Engineering or related technical fields

DESIRABLE:
-Process Excellence Green Belt/Black Belt
-Working knowledge of Quality Systems (FDA/ISO) within a regulated environment
