Description
The Finance IT Business Analyst will be responsible for supporting the company's Finance organization in 2 key projects:
Position Responsibilities:
- Liaise with different Finance project teams to make sure there will be a smooth transition of services to the Shared Services Center.
- Identify areas and support process improvements and efficiencies with guidance from Finance and Operations teams.
- Produce robust, accurate and detailed business requirements to support project and change activity.
- Develop requirements specifications using Project and Change Management standard policies and templates.
- Identification of cross functional impacts between projects.
- Obtain formal agreement from relevant stakeholders on requirements and establish a baseline on which solution design/development can commence.
- Preparation of business cases, action plans and timetables as required.
- Ability to solve problems and think critically, strategically and analytically
- Must be able to work independently under tight deadlines, with a willingness to work overtime during peak periods
- Self-starter with excellent organization, prioritization and time management skills
- Must be able to meet strict Business Unit and Corporate deadlines while handling multiple priorities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a demonstrated ability to interact within all levels of the organization
Skills/Experience:
- Five to ten years' experience in delivery of complex business focused, ideally financial services, project and change management.
- Very good functional business knowledge on cash, credit collections, payments etc.
- Experience working with Finance IT systems, ideally SAP.
- Strong analytical skills, ability to work within a defined framework covering processes standards
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; strong facilitation and negotiation skills
- Ability to effectively manage conflict and broker acceptable solutions
- Ability to deal with significant levels of business complexity
