SENIOR MECHANICAL ENGINEER:

Job Summary: Support the execution of an quality remediation project with mechanical engineering expertise. In this position, the individual conducts detailed engineering work related to priority assignments. The work requires sufficient professional expertise to assure competence as an experienced engineer as well as interpersonal skills required to work with other company disciplines.

General Functions: Identify all tasks required to complete project assignments according to the remediation plan. Prepares work plans outlining estimated manpower requirements Recommends schedule to carry out programs on a timely basis Prepares complex calculations, specifications, and other technical documentation according to the remediation execution plan Maintain essential records and documentation (DHF, DCTM) Education / Experience Requirements Education Bachelor of Science degree in engineering (mechanical, bio medical, etc.) required; advanced degree desired. 4-7 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Professional experience:

Development of electromechanical power systems and test methods and setups needed for design verification and validation testing. This includes the qualification of these setups. Ability to document development work according to GLM, 21 CFR and MDD (Design Control, Risk Management) Basic knowledge in statistics and sample size calculations Knowledgeable of drafting standards and geometric differences and tolerance Effective advocate on technical issues Capable of clear, well-argued, written communication in English (precise writing is more important than creative writing).Must possess an advanced knowledge of material science, engineering, manufacturing processes, and research technologies applicable to assigned areas of responsibility. Microsoft Office Suite

Languages: English, French is a plus Good interpersonal and communication skills
