A financially secure and growing company is seeking to appoint a Senior Product Manager, NGS focus on the product market development and product marketing of the award winning first and best-in-class NGS Reference Standard Product lines. The Senior Product Manager will be responsible for the revenue, margin and product strategy for the NGS product line.
This is a great opportunity for a Senior Product Manager to be involved in the realisation of new product ideas and work to help design and develop early concepts of future products and services. They are looking for someone who can roll up their sleeves and work in a fast paced environment.
The ideal candidate will have:
- PhD degree or equivalent experience in a relevant subject.
- 3-5 years' experience in product management and product marketing or related experience in the life science market.
- First-hand knowledge of NGS products, markets, vendors, and customers
- Familiarity with public bioinformatics resources (NCBI, UCSC, Ensembl, UniProt)
- Ability to work autonomously, but also manage cross functional relationships with both technical and commercial teams.
- Familiarity with sequence manipulation software.
- Self-starter
- Driven to perform
